Optimal use of solar energy
Netting is coming to an end, which makes own solar panels a lot less advantageous. A home battery can store the generated power so that it can be used later. It happens more and more often that solar panels switch off on a sunny day. In such a case, a home battery can still store the energy in the batteries, so that it is not lost.
Backup in case of power failure
In the event of a power failure, the system seamlessly takes over the power supply, for which a portion of battery capacity is always reserved. If there is not enough generation from the solar panels, a generator can be automatically controlled, so that you never run out of power.
Pay less with a smaller connection
A grid connection can be automatically replenished by the system, making more power available. This is particularly important for larger households with many consumers such as an electric car, electric hob, sauna/jacuzzi, etc. For these households, the step from a standard 3x25A connection to a 3x35A large connection is accompanied by a significant increase in fixed charges (at Liander €1327 per year).This is in addition to the costs of reinforcing the connection. These costs can be saved with the home battery system.
